Psoriasis UK launches new photo series

As part of Psoriasis Awareness Week 2026, we are very excited to announce the launch of our striking new set of photographs and images from our recent ‘Natural Lives’ photoshoot.

The shoot, which took place at Rushden Lakes in Northamptonshire in September, welcomed people of all ages and backgrounds with psoriasis and/or psoriatic arthritis to be photographs in a series of natural images from their daily lives. Participants posed while enjoying a coffee, browsing the shops and walking around the beautiful surrounding lakes.

Taken by Midlands-based photographer Graham Lucas Commons, the natural lifestyle photos demonstrate how psoriasis is just one part of someone’s story and even though there is currently no cure, it is possible with the right treatment and support to live a happy and active life. Many of those who took part spoke candidly about how both conditions have impacted their lives and the treatments they have used that have worked for them.

Featuring children, teenagers, adults and older people, supported by plenty of families and dogs, the new images will support our refreshed identity following our recent name change to Psoriasis UK.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who took part in the photoshoot for their courage and willingness to participate and share their stories to help and support others with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.

Look out for the images on our website and throughout our publications from Tuesday, 3 November.
