All-Wales Medicines Strategy Group (AWMSG) patient meeting – Thursday 17 September

The AWMSG hosts a number of Patient and Public Interest Group (PAPIG) meetings as part of their medicines appraisal process – register to attend the next one and have your say!

Details of the next free to attend meeting are as follows:

  • When - Thursday 17 September 2026, 10am to 11.30am
  • Where – Virtually, via Microsoft Teams (register online  or email awttc@wales.nhs.uk to be sent the link)

What will be discussed?

This meeting will focus on promoting “Your Medicines Your Health” - supporting the Welsh population to get the maximum benefit from their medication.

This campaign aims to ensure that people across Wales stay well and independent for as long as possible and can report adherence problems before their health is adversely affected.

AWMSG would very much like to hear the views and experiences of patients and carers and so there will be time for discussion and questions.

Please feel free to share details of the meeting among your networks, friends and colleagues.

Who is running the event?

These patient meetings are run by the Patient and Public Interest Group (PAPIG), which was set up in 2013 with the aim of involving patients, carers and patient organisations across Wales in the work of the AWMSG.

When is the next PAPIG meeting?

Provisionally, the next PAPIG meeting will take place on Friday 4 December (online).

More information including a programme and online registration will be available on the AWMSG website a few weeks before each meeting. Provisional dates for 2027 will be announced in due course.
