Today marks one month until The Amazing Northampton Run, taking place on Sunday, 13 September 2026.

What better way to take part in a Northampton-based event than to run for a Northampton-based charity?

We were founded in 1968 by Dr. Dick Coles, a Consultant Dermatologist at Northampton General Hospital, who’s initial psoriasis support group was set up in Northampton and quickly expanded to cover the entire United Kingdom.

Prices for charity entrants are as follows:

• Three-mile fun run charity entry - £5 + commitment to a minimum of £70 fundraising for charity)
• Half marathon charity entry - £10 + commitment to a minimum of £150 fundraising for charity)
• Half marathon relay charity entry - £15 + commitment to a minimum of £240 fundraising for charity)

Our team will also be on hand on the day – using this valuable opportunity to raise awareness while cheering on our runners!

Need a little more convincing?

We've been lucky to have had so many people of all abilities take part in races on our behalf over the year. Most recently, we were proudly represented at the London 10k last month by our incredible #PsoTeam.

Every penny raised is vital in keeping our helpline running, enabling us to support people with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis when they need it most.
